Thank
you for visiting the Franklin County Sheriff's Office web site. I have
reserved this page for the purpose of updating the recent events in our
Office and throughout Franklin County.
We have now been at our new Office for a little better than one year
and I believe we have worked out any issues that may have surfaced during
this transition. For those of you who still are not familiar with this
move we are now located at 387 Lake Road. This was the location of Office
Quarters prior to the fire that destroyed their previous office.
There have been some recent changes at the office with the addition
of a full time School Resource Officer position located in the Enosburg
Falls High School. Sergeant Paul Morits has been removed from full
time patrol duty and will be assigned to this position. The position
is somewhat unique in that when school is in session he will be at
the school full time. During the months of June, July and August when
school is not in session he will be patrolling Enosburg 40 hours a
week during the daytime hours.
We have recently hired Osburn Glidden to fulfill the Detective position
on a part time basis with the re-assignment of Detective Sergeant Andy
Giglio to the Franklin District/Family Courts. We have also had two
Deputies graduate from the 85th Basic Training Class for Full Time
Police Professionals. Deputy William Ruprecht and Deputy Brian Begnoche
who will be completing the final phase of Field Training.
Our recent hires consist of Deputy Chad Miles who is full time certified
and Deputy Jarod Adams who presently is part time certified and looking
to attend the 86th Class at the Police Academy.
Once again, thank you for visiting our web page and feel free to contact
me with any questions or concerns. I
can be reached by using the tip
