Thank
you for visiting the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office web site.
I have reserved this page for the purpose of updating the recent events
within our office and throughout Franklin County. We have relocated out
office and are now located at 387 Lake Road in St. Albans Town.
We are now operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for those who
may have a question or concern. That said, we only patrol St. Albans
Town 24 hours a day, but we do have a dispatcher on duty at all times.
We have reassigned Deputy First Class Tina Ploof to the Enosburg High
School as a School Resource Officer and the transition has been a smooth
one. In the summer, when school is not in session, D1C Ploof is patrolling
in Enosburg Village and Town. Patrol hours are Monday through Friday
from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the night deputy patrolling seven days a
week.
We have added four fill time positions here at the office. We recently
hired Michael Sisino, who has 29 year of full time law enforcement experience
in Vermont as our Detective Sergeant. We also hired Deputy Daniel Brady
who brings seven years of full time experience in Vermont to this office.
Our third hire is Deputy Andrew Underwood who has been with this office
for a number of years as a part time deputy and has now joined the ranks
of full time. Our most recent hire and graduate of the 88th Full Time
Class for Police Professionals is Deputy Edouard Larente. Deputy Larente
is now in the final stages of his Field Training and should complete
this training near the end of January.
Deputy First Class Corey Griswold and Deputy Chad Miles have been activated
an are now serving our country. We wish them well and thank them for
their service and hope for a speedy return around January of 2011.
Once again, thank you for visiting our web page and feel free to contact
me with any questions or concerns. I
