SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 03-18-07 at approximately 0021 hours, I was traveling
west on Sampsonville Road in the Town of Enosburg.  As I
came over the top of a hill just east of Enosburg Falls
Village I observed a vehicle traveling east coming towards
me.  The operator applied his parking brake and did a
power brake slide in the middle of the road.  The vehicle
spun 180 degrees and the operator then headed west at a
high rate of speed.  The speed limit in this area is 40 MPH
and as I attempted to catch up with the vehicle I got my
vehicle up to 60 MPH and the suspect vehicle was pulling
away from me.

The operator was taken into custody and processed for
DUI.  He was also charged with Careless and Negligent 
operation and operating with a criminally suspended
license.
