SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 04-25-06 I received a complaint of a theft of checks .
Complainant stated checks had been stolen from her,
altered and cashed by William McDowell. 
On 05-02-06 VSP responded to the complaint of a larceny
in Georgia. Upon finishing being processed by VSP, 
McDowell was transferred to my custody. McDowell
admitted to stealing the checks. McDowell was lodged at
Northwest State Correctional Facility and issued citations
for larceny, fraud and unlawful trespass.
