SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 03-15-06 at approximately 1224 I attempted to make a
traffic stop of a vehicle traveling north on Vermont Route
118. The vehicle sped off and a short pursuit took place.
The vehicle was stopped in East Berkshire and the
operator was arrested for a number of traffic offenses.
While processing the operator it was found out that just
minutes prior to me attempting the traffic stop, the operator
had pumped gas into the vehicle at Sylvester’s Mobil and
left without paying. He was issued a citation to appear in
VT District Court at a later date and released.
