SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 01-01-06 at approximately 0220 am, Deputy Kachajian
responded to the area of Plains Road near the Georgia
Fire Station to assist Deputy Scott with a possible
intoxicated driver. Upon arrival on scene, Deputy Kachajian 
was advised by Deputy Scott that the operator,
later identified as a party by the name of Dane Badger,
had approached him on Plains Road after exiting his car.
As Deputy Scott was speaking with the operator, he
noticed a strong odor of intoxicants coming from Mr.
Badger’s person. When Deputy Scott asked Mr. Badger if
he had been drinking, Mr. Badger stated to him, “Yes, a
lot. Please stop me from driving”. Deputy Kachajian was
later able to determine upon further investigation that Mr.
Badger was driving under the influence of alcoholic
beverages. Mr. Badger was placed into custody and
transported to the Sheriff’s Office, where upon arrival he
was processed and released on a citation to appear in
court at a later date for the charge of DUI.
