Mrs. Lynch thanked the Explorers for their participation in the Town 
Meetings throughout Franklin County at the meeting and also had an 
article printed in the Courier thanking them.  
 
A video presentation DVD was shown on under age drinking following a 
long discussion about the film and the impact it gave on the audience.  
The movie was about 20 minutes long.  It was a reenactment of a triple 
fatality.  The movie left an impression on everyone in the room.
 
Deputy Billow took the floor and thanked the Explorers who marched 
in the Vietnam Vets parade and gave special attention to Danielle who 
spent her whole weekend participating at the Vietnam Wall.  
Amber was Caleb were also recognized for marching in the parade.  
Deputy Billow announced that Danielle and Amber would both be promoted 
to Lt for the interest and participation they have given to the 
Explorers' Program.
 
The remaining parades were discussed and it was agreed that the parade 
on 05 26 08 meeting at BFA would be the only one we would participate in.  
Danielle, Amber, Kyle and Caleb volunteered their time.
 
Mrs. Lynch suggested the making of a float created by the Franklin 
County Explorers for the parades next year as a possible project.  
 
Deputy Billow picked out a date of June 2nd for the end of the year 
pizza get together at the Swanton House of Pizza at 6:00 PM.  
 
The Explorers will resume again September 8th after the summer is over.
