WHO
Students from 14 to 19 years of age. Annual fee of $7.00 due end
of November of each year. Anyone interested in becoming an Explorer
must submit their name to Deputy Billow BEFORE coming to any meetings.
No unannounced attendants please. Anyone interested in becoming
an Explorer will need to attend 5 meetings before being issued
a uniform.
WHAT
This program is to introduce law enforcement to the Explorers in
an effort to help them decide if law enforcement is a field they
want to pursue.
WHEN and WHERE
The meeting will be held every two weeks on Monday nights starting
at 6:30 PM at the Franklin County Sheriff Office. (This is subject
to change with notice).
HOW
1. Explorers will attend meetings in the uniforms they are provided
with and are asked to keep a good attendance.
2. Franklin County Sheriff Office property will not be misused or
mistreated in any way to include the uniforms that will be worn for
Explorer use only.
3. Explorers will behave in an orderly and respectful manner during
meetings and will refrain from any physical interaction between each
other. What you do on your own time is your business however we don’t
encourage holding hands or any other physical interaction during
our events.
4. Explorers will address all adults with their titles or surnames.
Anyone not following the above mentioned rules will be subject to
disciplinary action which could result in suspension and/or dismissal.
Conduct yourself in the same orderly manner you do in your high
school classes.
