| In order to be considered for employment with this office,
a resume and cover letter must accompany the application as well as
copies of certifications (if any). If applying for a deputy position,
also please include any training records regarding your Rule 32 requirements.
Additionally, please provide the results of your MMPI and entrance
exams.

Packet ("Part 2 of the Application," seen at right)
will required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Part Time Deputy Sheriff:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Part Time Law Enforcement Certification,
20/20 or corrected vision, must pass background investigation, must
be at least 18 years of age.
Full Time Deputy Sheriff:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Full Time Law Enforcement Certification,
20/20 or corrected vision, must pass the physical testing requirements
set by the Vermont Criminal Justice Training Council, must pass
background investigation, polygraph and oral board interviews, must
be at least 21 years of age. |
